The Milwaukee Film Office: How We Can Help You

Milwaukee has a variety of possibilities for film and video on-location shoots. Our city's genuine hospitality, simple permit procedures, affordable and accessible location, and ample production resources make it an ideal location for film and video production.
The Milwaukee Film Office works directly with Film Wisconsin—the statewide film industry organization—on Milwaukee-area projects.
When a producer or director is interested in filming in Milwaukee, we can suggest locations, resources, transportation and accommodations.
Once a production is slated to film here, we direct the team to the Permit Office (if needed) and often act as a liaison to help the team accomplish its goals.
We act as a resource for filmmakers by helping them to locate and use local production assistance from Milwaukee-area experts.
