See what planners are saying about Milwaukee:

Dear VISIT Milwaukee,

My name is Debbie Cowen and I am the Director of Conferences for the
Associations of Avian Veterinarians, Exotic Small Mammals, and
Reptiles/Amphibians. I also sit on the Visit Milwaukee Advisory
Council and briefly met you during our last meeting. I am writing
today to recognize the service I have received from Visit Milwaukee
during my planning process of my recent August 2009 conference.

I would like to specifically mention a few of your staff members that
exceeded my expectations. Christine Celley and Lynne Sobczak were an
asset to my team in many ways. Both Christine and Lynne were very
professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the success of
my conference. Their extra effort helped to make this year's
conference one of the best meetings these associations have had in 30 years!

I had never been to Milwaukee before my first site selection, and
Christine was an excellent resource and tour guide. Her assistance
with the Midwest Airlines Center was invaluable and her personable
nature has made her a friend. I would work with her time and again!

Lynne was helpful in many ways: she gave my staff member a city tour,
ensured I had all collateral on site for attendees, coordinated my on
site staffing needs of temp help, and was kind enough to drive me to
many appointments around the city (twice!).

The services Visit Milwaukee offers were an asset to my conference
attendees. All printed materials were well received and the employees
I hired through Lynne were professional, kind, and familiar with the
city. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Mia Brondyke! Although
Mia was not my direct sales person, she helped me many times when I
needed further assistance and her love of the city excited me about
bringing 800 people in for a full week.

It takes a village to have such success and with this, I offer my
thanks to Visit Milwaukee for grand service. I will continue to sing
my praises for the city of Milwaukee amongst my peers in the
industry. I hope to see you at the next Advisory Council Meeting.

Thanks to all!

Debbie Cowen
