LEGO KidsFest Coming to Milwaukee June 15-17

Bring your family and your inner child for three days at the Frontier Airlines Center

MILWAUKEE (April 23, 2012) – LEGO KidsFest, a traveling LEGO exposition, is scheduled to stop in Milwaukee on June 15-17, while making its national tour. The exposition will cover more than 150,000 square feet of space at the Frontier Airlines Center with creative and hands-on activities.

Activities for young and old at LEGO KidsFest will include:

  • Live demonstrations by LEGO Master Builders, who will also teach the fundamentals of design, engineering and art in the Master Builder Academy
  • An area to custom build cars and race them down the Race Ramps against friends and family
  • A LEGO Model Gallery with 40 life-size models made entirely from LEGO bricks
  • A LEGO DUPLO area where younger visitors can build and explore their imaginations
  • Construction Zones where children can play freely with plenty of LEGO bricks to choose from

In time for LEGO KidsFest, the brand new LEGO store will open in Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa in May. The store will  feature more than 4 million LEGO bricks at any given time as well as a play area, LEGO model displays and a “Pick-a-Brick Wall,” which gives the option to choose specific LEGO bricks and elements in a variety of colors and shapes in bulk.
