VISIT MILWAUKEE HIRES DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT 

Meg McKenna of Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce  to Join Team

MILWAUKEE – Jan. 4, 2011 – Meg McKenna has been named director of development for VISIT Milwaukee.

Most recently, McKenna served as executive director for the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce since Jan. 2010. During her tenure, McKenna built strong relationships, and created new programs that resulted in a 33 percent growth in 2010 and 2011. Previously, she created thriving online communities to promote Milwaukee and Wauwatosa through MilwaukeeMoms.com and TosaTownSquare.com and has volunteered for many community organizations that serve to better the Milwaukee area.

McKenna will be responsible for planning, leading and executing VISIT Milwaukee’s private fund development activities, as well as growing earned revenue through corporate partnerships, sponsorships, marketing partnerships, membership and cooperative advertising sales.
