2012 Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Run

Head to Milwaukee's lakefront this summer for the the second annual Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Run on Saturday, June 23 at 7:00 am!
 

The inaugural Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Run took place on July 10, the closing day of Summerfest 2011 and allowed participants to run over the Hoan Bridge. A total of 6,567 runners from across the world participated in the race, representing 46 states and 12 countries, including Germany, Canada, Mexico, China, Ethiopia, Morocco, UK, Venezuela, Brazil, Kenya, Austria and the United States.

A portion of the proceeds from the Rock 'n Sole Run are donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc (RMHC). In 2010, $67,033.42 were donated to the RMHC.
