Shopping
Find what you need. Buy what you want.
No destination is complete without shopping. And Milwaukee has more than a few locations that can hold their own. From boutiques and specialty shops, to malls and outlet stores, all shoppers will find just the right style and ideal gift.
SHOPPING MILWAUKEE BY NEIGHBORHOOD
Many areas of Milwaukee define themselves by their history, their residents—and lately, by their shopping options. These notable neighborhoods distinguish themselves as places to be seen perusing potential purchases.
HISTORIC THIRD WARD
The Historic Third Ward is second to none in its distinct flavor. Milwaukee Public Market anchors its northern edge while the Milwaukee River hugs and guides it to Lake Michigan on the east. With unique, contemporary and classic shops adorned in historic facades, it’s no wonder the entire city flocks eastward to this historic ward.
BRADY STREET
It’s more than just nine blocks east to west between Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River. It’s a vibe that’s constantly evolving. It’s old school meets new cool. It’s chic boutiques and mom-and-pop shops. It’s a place to grab a bite, catch a band and gab with friends. It’s Brady Street.
EAST TOWN
Big buildings and Milwaukee’s biggest bustle are just a small part of East Town. With the RiverWalk its western edge and Lake Michigan its eastern border, East Town is buoyed by a mix of upscale shops, dining and entertainment.
WESTOWN
The western edge of downtown Milwaukee is a diverse mixture of residential, retail, commercial and entertainment choices. Riverfront condos to world-famous German foods. Sprawling convention center to award-winning public museum. It’s easy to picture yourself in Westown.
