Wauwatosa is truly unique. Located in the center of the Milwaukee metro area, "Tosa" is only 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Our beautiful neighborhoods are walkable and bike-friendly. Enjoy beautiful parkways and a vibrant European-style Village, filled with one-of-a-kind restaurants and retailers. Many of the metro area's best restaurants are located in Wauwatosa, as well as Mayfair, the most successful shopping center in Wisconsin. Come for a visit and I know you will want to return time and time again.

Kathy Ehley
Mayor of Wauwatosa

Wauwatosa (2012 pop. 46,396), "Tosa" to the locals, invites you to come and enjoy its rich hospitality. This city borders the western side of urban Milwaukee, only five miles from Miller Park - home of the Milwaukee Brewers! Both the small town and the big city are reflected in the shopping, dining, hospitality, sports and outdoor recreation available here. During the summer months, we invite you to stop by the historic visitors center called “the Little Red Store,” built in 1854 and is the oldest commercial building in our city.
