Every April 14, the city celebrates 414 Day. Reflecting Milwaukee’s area code, the day is highlighted by festivities, specials, and happening around town. This year was a unique iteration of Milwaukee Day as it also marked opening day for the Milwaukee Brewers along with a release of the new Grace Weber song, “414,” and so much more. VISIT Milwaukee commemorated the occasion with an event at the 3rd Street Market Hall featuring a new video by Imagine MKE and the poem “Fire Light,” by poet laureate Dasha Kelly Hamilton.
