The days may be hot, but for music lovers the nights are even hotter in Milwaukee! You’ll find free outdoor concerts almost every night of the week through the summer, featuring a diverse assortment of bands with everything from popular local cover bands to classical ensembles. Bring the family, some friends, purchase treats from local food trucks and vendors and enjoy Milwaukee’s thriving summer concert season.

Musical Mondays

Monday evenings in Lake Park (July – August).

The only local concert series that goes on rain or shine – in the case of inclement weather, performances are moved into the lower level of Lake Park Pavilion.

Chill on the Hill

Tuesday evenings at Humboldt Park’s bandshell (June –August).

Chill on the Hill welcomes guests from all areas and features bike racks and dog watering areas to accommodate concertgoers.

Skyline Music Series

Tuesday evenings at the Selig-Joseph-Folz Amphitheater in Kilbourn-Kadish Park (July – August)

Enjoy family-friendly music, food, and fun in the Riverwest neighborhood with a beautiful view of the downtown skyline.

Live @ the Lakefront

Wednesday evenings at the Rotary Amphitheater at Discovery World (July - August)

With the stage overlooking Lake Michigan, guests can enjoy free sunset shows throughout the summer.

River Rhythms

Wednesday evenings at Pere Marquette Park (June – August)

Some of the city’s most popular bands play right on the banks of the Milwaukee River.

Tosa Tonight

Select Wednesday evenings at Hart Park (June – August)

This laidback concert series is especially popular with families – the splashpad located nearby certainly doesn’t hurt!

Jazz in the Park

Thursday evenings at Cathedral Square Park (June – September)

Milwaukee's favorite free, outdoor, summer music series, attracting an average of 8,000 people each week. Performers come from across town and across the country.

Café Sopra Mare

Sunday mornings at Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum (June – September)

This music series is the perfect addition to a lazy Sunday morning, with coffee, tea and pastries available for purchase from Bella’s Café.
