Arts and Theater in 2020

2020 has been a year unlike any other, and Milwaukee's theater and performing arts companies are taking new steps to bring the arts to both stages and screens. From limited-capacity in-person shows to web series that take full advantage of the digital format, Milwaukee's musicians, actors, and dancers are still eager to perform for you! Company 2020 Offerings
First Stage Fully virtual season including a web series, staged readings, and a "Create Your Own Adventure" play. Learn more.
Florentine Opera Company Mainstage shows are planned to start in February. Intimate, digital concerts will also be available. Learn more.
Milwaukee Ballet Alternative performance experiences will be announced, including a re-conceived virtual version of The Nutcracker. Learn more.
Milwaukee Chamber Theatre Online performances of the first performances of the season will be available for subscribers and ticket buyers. Learn more.
Milwaukee Repertory Theater 2020-21 Season Reset will include small cast productions presented in limited capacity as well as the option to watch virtually. A Christmas Carol will be replaced by the one-man show, "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol." Learn more.
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Online concerts will be available live and on demand for subscribers. Additional in-person, limited-capacity subscriber events to be announced. Learn more.
Next Act Theatre Limited capacity productions to start in November, with professional recordings available online for ticket holders. Learn more.
Present Music "Limitless" season will launch with online-only concerts and plans to host hybrid live and online concerts later in the season. Learn more.
Renaissance Theatreworks Season expected to begin in January. A Zoom-based family show, "Cruise in a Box," will be presented in collaboration with the Adirondack Theatre Festival in November. Learn more.
