Golf Resorts

Golf

After a long day on the course, these posh resorts are a golfers paradise, whether traveling solo, in a golfing foursome, or with the entire family in tow. Make Wisconsin your golf destination and enjoy a stay just steps away from some of the nation's most highly ranked golf courses.

The Lodge at Erin Hills

Staying on-property at Erin Hills is not only practical, it’s luxurious. Nestled an hour north of Milwaukee within the Kettle Moraine Forest, Erin Hills is a secluded golf lovers paradise. In 2017, its Lodge and Cottages played host to the finest golfers in the world during the U.S. Open. With multiple options for groups large and small, this is the place to relax and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes that surround you. Head over to the Irish Pub & Terrace or the Clubhouse for a cold beverage overlooking this world class course, and relax in tranquility.

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa

For golfers looking to sneak away for a solo game but needing to entertain the family, Grand Geneva resort is the perfect choice. With two onsite golf courses – The Brute and The Highlands – this resort also offers spa packages at its onsite, full service WELL Spa + Salon, along with a waterpark for the kids, historic property tours (this was also once the Playboy Club + Hotel!), guided horseback tours, and more, along with fine dining, evening entertainment, and cocktails.

Geneva National Resort & Club

Designed for the group golf experience but also perfect for family vacations, the Inns of Geneva National complex features six villas, each with six separately keyed deluxe guest rooms and luxurious common areas, including living, dining and recreation quarters as well as a full kitchen. Plus, sliding doors open to an exclusive putting green and private outdoor patios overlooking the 18th fairway of Geneva National Golf Club’s signature Gary Player course, making it a great place to end a long day on the course.

Nearby, the privately owned 146-room Ridge Hotel is Lake Geneva’s newest hotel. It overlooks acres of secluded and wooded shoreline and the award-winning Geneva National Golf Club. With golf packages and access to all the Geneva National courses, other Ridge amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a 12-foot outdoor fire feature, an on-site health club, spa, outdoor bar, restaurant, cocktail lounge and a coffee and wine bar.

The American Club at Kohler

Once a dormitory for immigrant workers with a pub, bowling alley and barbershop, The American Club reemerged in 1981 as a full-service hotel. Today this Forbes five-star and AAA five-diamond rating hotel is located minutes from Blackwolf Run, Whistling Straits, and the Bull at Pinehurst Farms. Adjacent to The American Club, the Carriage House is home to the Kohler Waters Spa and offers the same renowned service in more contemporary surroundings and is perfect for couple’s golf weekends. (Pro tip: Stop in the Kohler Design Center, just next to the Carriage House, for a look at what Kohler is famous for!).

Sand Valley Golf Resort

Whether on a romantic couple’s weekend of golf or a week-long excursion with friends, Sand Valley Golf Resort offers packages to suite your needs. Rooms, suites, cottages, and even residences with full kitchens await, with breathtaking views of Sand Valley’s three golf courses – Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, and the Sandbox – or the stunning glacial lake that adorns the property. With different dining options and an on-site bar for entertaining and relaxation, this is a must do for any golf traveler.
