Any fan of the Bucks knows that Bobby Portis brings the energy on the court. Now he’s bringing the signature passion that has made him a fan favorite off the hardwood and into the city as Milwaukee’s official hype man. Fresh off a brand-new four-year contract, Bobby is here to stay! Check out all his favorite stops and spend your day the Bobby way! 
 

1. Colectivo on the Lakefront

Ever wonder where Bobby gets his energy? With beautiful views of shimmering Lake Michigan and scenic McKinley Park, grab a coffee, tea, or smoothie find your morning motivation at Colectivo on the Lakefront. You never know, Bobby Portis may be your barista!

2. Bradford Beach

Hit the beach. One of the country’s most accessible beaches, Bradford Beach is the hottest place to be on a summer day. Grab some friends and play beach volleyball, then hang out at the Tiki Bar to cool off with a drink.  

3. Lakefront Bike Trail 

Roll with Bobby. Take a leisurely stroll through a beautiful natural setting or grab your bike for a ride! The 145+ miles of trails including the Oak Leaf and Hank Aaron trails, crisscross the Milwaukee area and are the perfect way to get out and explore the city.

4. Milwaukee Art Museum 

Revel in the splendor of the Milwaukee Art Museum’s rich collection of over 32,000 works of art spaced across the sprawling 40 gallery space. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, catch incredible views of the sail boats on the lake and enjoy the museum’s latest exhibition featuring the works of Jules Chéret. 

5. Milwaukee Public Market 

Enjoy a Bloody like Bobby. Located in the city’s Historic Third Ward, the Milwaukee Public Market is your one-stop shop for prepared food, groceries, gifts, and more. Grab some cheese at the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe, fresh fruit and vegetables at the Foltz Family Market, Milwaukee gear at the Brew City Brand Apparel store, and a drink at the Thief Wine Shop & Bar. Don’t forget the beer chaser!

6. The Milwaukee RiverWalk 

Put the walk in Milwaukee. A great way to explore the city, the 3.1-mile Milwaukee RiverWalk connects the downtown to the Historic Third Ward and Beerline B. Walk along the river and cheer on kayakers or just bask in the scenic beauty of the city’s skyline. Take in the sights and stop along the many shops, restaurants, and brewpubs that dot the RiverWalk and offer outstanding views of the Milwaukee River.  

7. Clearwater Outdoor Kayak Rental 

Ahoy! Get out on the water and kayak down the Milwaukee River, immersing yourself in the Milwaukee cityscape and enjoying some of the best views of the downtown area. Keep an eye out for Bobby, offering words of encouragement along the riverbanks.

8. Harley-Davidson Museum 

Rev up the evening at a Harley-Davidson Museum Bike Night. Located at the world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum, the Thursday Bike Night Concert Series features free live music, delicious food and, of course, hundreds of motorcycles on display every Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. If you can’t make it to Bike Night, be sure to stop by the Harley-Davidson Museum to stroll through the interactive exhibits detailing the story behind Harley-Davidson’s culture brand. If you listen closely, you can hear the bikes purr “Bucks in Six.” 

9. The Yard at the Iron Horse Hotel 

From the hardwood to the Iron Horse, stop by The Yard to enjoy the gorgeous, sun-soaked patio space. Whether you’re celebrating a world championship or just another successful day at the office, The Yard is the perfect spot to grab a drink.
