Day 2
Today, explore the companies that have influenced our city, country, and the world. We’ll head to Miller Valley for the popular Miller Brewery Tour, where highlights include the historic caves, modern brewing process, and ice-cold sample brews in the Bavarian-style Miller Inn or outdoor beer garden. Our next stop is the elegantly restored home of Captain Frederick Pabst. Built in the 1890s, the Pabst Mansion represents the epitome of America’s Gilded Age Splendor in Milwaukee. We’ll continue on to lunch at Jackson’s Blue Ribbon Pub, located on the site of the historic Pabst Brewery complex. Just a few blocks east, we’ll view the largest collection of industrial art in the world at the Grohmann Museum. The “Man at Work” collection highlights the evolution of human work, with paintings and sculptures depicting everything from farming to quarrying, and beer brewing to lace making.
