Business Resources

Learn how the DNC may affect your business

This is the single biggest event we could draw to Milwaukee, in terms of people, economic impact, and global exposure. This a tremendous opportunity to showcase everything our city and our state has to offer. We are going to need everyone’s help to make this successful. We need the corporate community, the nonprofit sector, the small business community, and engaged citizens in Milwaukee—and Wisconsin—to help get ready, including thousands of volunteers to help make this event run smoothly.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • The convention will welcome 50,000 visitors to Milwaukee, creating an economic impact of over $200 million.
  • Approximately 12,000 volunteers will be needed throughout the event.
  • Over 1,500 events will be planned throughout the region in just 4 days.
  • Over 500 buses will be used to transport delegates and attendees.
  • Hotel rooms will be used in the Greater Milwaukee area, as well as regionally, from Kohler to Madison to Lake Geneva.
  • This will be a huge economic opportunity for everyone in and around Milwaukee. We need businesses big and small, from all over the city and around the region to play a part to make this event successful.
