Actively involved in the city’s diversity scene, VISIT Milwaukee’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee seeks out ways to enhance the city's image as an inclusive and welcoming destination.

By championing diversity within the hospitality industry, we're already fostering community growth and unity by bringing in groups like:

Diverse Meetings, Diverse City

The city’s African American culture is celebrated in the northside Bronzeville and Garfield Park areas, while the United Community Center and Layton Boulevard West are centers for Hispanic, Hmong, and African American communities. Potawatomi Hotel and Casino is an outstanding advocate of local Native American culture and a major employer in the area.

“Milwaukee is one of my all-time favorite destinations.  The people are so welcoming and friendly, the food is delicious, and so much is within walking distance for our attendees.  The city has a great, relaxed vibe.  Beautiful architecture, views of the lake, a rich tribal cultural history and influence, and all the restaurants and museums within a short distance from downtown make it very popular and why we return for meetings again and again.”
