Sailing Yacht JAKAB is Milwaukee's upscale, yet affordable, pure sailing adventure. Enjoy a true sailing experience aboard JAKAB, a 55-foot, 19-ton, 40-passenger traditional, safe, seaworthy, sailing yacht offering affordable private events and public sails from Milwaukee's beautiful Harbor.

Public sailing events aboard JAKAB are 70 minutes.

"We offer public sails with an optional tour and narration -- regarding history of the vessel, naval architecture, navigation, meteorology, and the math and physics underlying the fundamental principles of sailing. Private sails with team building and training regarding leadership, communication and basic tall ship sailing."

We serve beer ($4), soda ($2), and water (complimentary). Seating is comfortable with seat backs (like a park bench). Wear or bring appropriate attire (suggest layers if Sunset Sail). We have a clean restroom (head) and large interior in case of inclement weather. We will try to provide ample notice (via telephone, text and email) in case the captain determines beforehand that weather is inclement (unsafe or uncomfortable) We sail in Milwaukee's inner harbor unless the lake has relatively small waves, in which case we may venture outside the outer break-wall - hence, regardless of wind conditions the sail will be in relatively smooth water. We suggest you show up 30 minutes early to find street parking and be at the boat dock 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Day Sails are $25 per person; Sunset Sails are $30 per person. Children under 7 sail for $20.
