Located in the heart of Schlitz Park, The Brown Bottle serves lunch and dinner in the historic dining room and bar, which served as the Schlitz tasting room beginning in 1938. History is made modern by the Schlitz engravings, elk antler chandeliers, and antique photographs adorning the dark wood walls.

The menu features a classic Schlitz beer-battered fish fry, as well as innovative shareable plates. The bar highlights signature cocktails and, of course, Schlitz beer.

Things You'll Find:

  1. Schlitz Brewery was the first to bottle its beer in brown bottles. This allowed less light to come through the glass bottles making less beer spoil. After this invention, nearly all breweries followed in its footsteps. The Brown Bottle restaurant was named after this.
