Wherever your athletes or fans are coming from, it's easy to get to Milwaukee! Located just 90 minutes north of Chicago, Milwaukee is centrally located within one day's drive of one-third of the U.S. population. Plus, Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is just 8 miles away from downtown with non-stop service from 35+ cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Orlando. Milwaukee is also served by Amtrak, a variety of buses, and even a high-speed ferry!

Downtown

Milwaukee is located at the intersection of I-94 and I-43, with both highways leading directly into downtown. Downtown, you'll find venues like the Wisconsin Center, UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Fiserv Forum, and MSOE Kern Center. Milwaukee's lakefront sports options, from beaches to lagoons, are directly adjacent to downtown on the coast of Lake Michigan. Milwaukee's downtown is very compact and walkable, or take advantage of amenities like Bublr Bikes bike share or The Hop streetcar to get around in style.

Regional Area

Just a few minutes west of the city on I-94, you'll find American Family Field, Wisconsin State Fair Park (home of the Milwaukee Mile), and the Pettit National Ice Center. Head north on I-43 to find Uihlein Soccer, or head south for the Rock Sports Complex. Championship courses like Erin Hills and Whistling Straits are both about an hour's drive from downtown Milwaukee.

Milwaukee MItchell Airport is served by eight on-premise auto rental agencies, and the city has a wide variety of shuttles, coach transport, and more to get groups of all sizes wherever they need to go.

 

Bradford Beach

Parks for All Abilities

Bradford Beach is now one of the nation's most accessible beaches, thanks to a new 100-foot smooth concrete ramp from the street to the beach - the ramp is 8 feet wide to make it easy for people in wheelchairs to pass each other. A portable non-slip mat closes the rest of the distance between the ramp and the water, helping those with wheelchairs, walkers, or any other difficulties moving on sand access Lake Michigan. Beach wheelchairs are also available for free rental.
