For hikers, the Wisconsin winter is the perfect time to break out a pair of snowshoes. Many of Wauwatosa’s walking and hiking trails are great for snowshoeing during the winter months.

Pettit National Ice Center

Wauwatosa is also just minutes away from the Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic training site, which hosts public skating multiple times a week. Be sure to check the schedule before you go.

Waterstone Bank Ice Rink at Center Street Park

The Waterstone Bank Ice Rink at Center Street Park is another open-air rink where everyone in the community can join in the fun.

Wauwatosa Curling Club

Hart Park is also the headquarters of the Wauwatosa Curling Club. Established in 1921, this club is still out on the ice inside the Muellner Building. Guests are welcome at any time – come for an Open House or contact the club to learn more about getting some basic curling instruction.
