With over twenty-five years of experience working in sports, Michael Cosentino is the Senior Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club. In this role, Michael leads the strategic direction and revenue generation of the Brewers ticketing department. 

Before joining the Brewers, Michael was Executive Vice President of Business Development for the New York Islanders Hockey Club and UBS Arena, where he oversaw the ticketing and premium sales departments. Concurrently, he held the role of President, Bridgeport Islanders Business Operations, overseeing all aspects of the AHL business. Michael joined that organization in 2018, reporting to ownership as one of the first business leadership hires. He was responsible for building the ticket and premium sales teams in their entirety. Michael was a lead member of the executive leadership team, migrating the team from Brooklyn to its temporary home at Nassau Coliseum, and then opening UBS Arena in 2021. He led the NHL club towards a sellout of full-season tickets and five premium suite areas and grew a season ticket waiting list of over 2,000 fans. 

From 2015- 2018, Michael was Vice President of ticketing and premium with the Vancouver Canucks. During his tenure, Michael ushered in a revenue-focused culture, leading a team of 35 sales and service professionals. Under Michael’s leadership, the Canucks achieved over 25% growth in premium sales and 40% increase in new season ticket and group revenue over three seasons.

Michael held various senior leadership roles within Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, most recently as Senior Director of Sales where he oversaw revenue generation within season tickets and premium sales for the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Toronto FC (MLS) and Toronto Marlies (AHL). 

From 2009-2013, Michael served as head of business operations for the Toronto Marlies, where he led all aspects of business operations for the American Hockey League (AHL) club. Under his leadership, the Toronto Marlies saw record growth with ticket sales increasing by over 80% in five seasons. Michael's tenure culminated with the organization being recognized as AHL Team of the Year in 2013 and Michael receiving the Ken McKenzie Award for outstanding sales and marketing of an AHL team. 

Michael, a Toronto native, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from York University. He is a graduated instructor of Dale Carnegie's Leadership Training and regularly speaks at universities and colleges as one of Canada’s leading sports business executives. Michael served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Association and Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Committee. He has regularly volunteered as a mentor for the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada and served two terms as President of the Board of Directors for Bayview Community Services in Toronto. Michael is an avid runner and has completed 16 marathons, including the New York, Boston, and Chicago Marathons.
