Convention and visitors bureau adds eight new board members, new vice chair


VISIT Milwaukee is proud to announce the addition of five new members to its Board of Directors, as well as a new vice chair.
 

The new board members include:

  • Alexx Zawada, Director of Marketing, Potawatomi Hotel and Casino

  • Shari Black, CEO, Wisconsin State Fair

  • Dennis Williams, SVP and General Manager, Fiserv Forum

  • Tami Garrison, Community Affairs and Alcohol Responsibility, Molson Coors

  • Meagan O’Reilly, Wauwatosa Common Council President

  • Craig Kammholz, Chief Operating Officer, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce

  • Paul Bartolotta, Chef | Owner | Co-Founder, The Bartolotta Restaurants

  • Samantha Maldonado, Community Volunteer
     

Sarah Smith Pancheri, President of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. will now serve as vice-chair after having served on the VISIT Milwaukee Board of Directors since 2020. Dr. Eve M. Hall of the Greater Milwaukee Urban League will continue to serve as chair of the Board of Directors, while Steve Baas of the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association, and Jim Villa of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, will continue to serve on the Board’s executive committee. As the tourism marketing and branding organization for the greater Milwaukee area, VISIT Milwaukee is responsible for growing the local tourism economy, generating revenues for local business, increasing taxes paid by tourists and growing tourism-related jobs. The chair of the Board of Directors volunteers her time to provide overall strategic direction to VISIT Milwaukee and advocate its mission to the community. The Board of Directors assists in developing the organization’s strategic plan and helps VISIT Milwaukee achieve its goals through participation in committees and Board meetings.
