A day mirroring the city’s area code (414), on April 14 every year, Milwaukee swells to a fever pitch in a grand celebration of local pride for everything that makes Milwaukee home. From the flag unfurling at City Hall to the Milwaukee Day Party at Vivarium on the East Side, the Brew City bash at Harley-Davidson Museum's massive 414 Day celebration to a Home Sweet Home 5K with stunning views of the city we love, you can find your favorite festivities paying homage to the Good Land all across the city. It’s no secret that Milwaukee is a sports lover’s paradise. With eight professional sports franchises in town, there is no offseason in the Brew City – The action never stops, and the wins keep on coming. With the reigning N.L. Central Champion Milwaukee Brewers looking to defend their title, the MASL Conference Finalist Wave eyeing the club’s eighth title and the playoff-bound Bucks and Admirals seeking another deep postseason run, there’s so much to watch! Well, this 414 Day, you won’t have to choose. Several Milwaukee teams are in action on Sunday…just not at home. For just $4.14, you can get tickets to the playoff-bound AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators as they take on the Manitoba Moose on April 17 at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. The sale begins tomorrow at 7 p.m. and runs through midnight on Sunday.

The former Bradley Tech standout was the school's first McDonald's All-American nominee in nearly 40 years, gracing ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10 for his dunking abilities.
