Milwaukee Bike Events

Cyclists find much to love and do in Milwaukee. If you’re looking to take part in a bicycling event, these races and rides are a great place to start.

UPAF Ride for the Arts

The UPAF Ride for the Arts, Presented by Miller Lite, is Wisconsin’s largest recreational, family-friendly bike ride and a beloved Milwaukee tradition. This one-day event features the signature 20-mile Hoan Loop course, where bikes rule the road, all in support of Milwaukee’s world-class performing arts groups.

Riverwest 24

The Riverwest 24 means 24 hours of riding through the ultra-eclectic Riverwest neighborhood with mandatory, community-oriented stops. Even if you don’t ride, this is one of the best races (and block parties) for spectators!

The Great American Brewery Bike Race

The Great Milwaukee Brewery Bike Race is a fun, informal competition in which riders pick a “team” route (Bay View or Riverwest), then ride between two breweries — stopping for a beer at each before returning to their starting point

Tour of America's Dairyland

Tour of America's Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is the largest competitive bicycle racing event in the United States. At the various stops you can cheer on Pro-Am athletes from over 40 states and 15 countries. This means it's 11 days of family-friendly fun featuring races, kids' activities, food, drink, music, and more.

Santa Cycle Rampage

Each December, hundreds of cyclists don their Santa suits and take to the streets for the Wisconsin Bike Federation’s Santa Cycle Rampage. It’s the jolliest ride in town.
