From world-class cycling to one of the nation’s top triathlon events, Milwaukee’s endurance sports scene is in high gear this August. With thousands of athletes competing in some of the city’s most scenic settings, the energy is electric and national eyes are on the Good Land once again.

Tosa Village Classic Tour of America's Dairyland

The wheels were spinning across southeast Wisconsin this summer as the Tour of America’s Dairyland returned for its 16th year. Nearly 500 pro and amateur cyclists from more than 40 states and a dozen countries raced through neighborhoods like Bay View, Wauwatosa and Shorewood during the 11-day series.

This year, the action leveled up with the 2025 USA Cycling Masters and Junior Road National Championships. Another 938 athletes competed in road races, criteriums and time trials across Milwaukee. These events brought even more momentum to the city’s cycling scene and gave spectators a thrilling look at Olympic-caliber competition.

From August 8 to 10, Milwaukee will welcome back the USA Triathlon National Championships along the shores of Lake Michigan. More than 5,000 elite athletes will swim, bike and run along the city’s lakefront in one of the top multisport competitions in the country.
