USA Triathlon's USA National Championships brought two days of elite endurance competitions along Milwaukee’s lakefront earlier this month. Then, the roar of IndyCar's Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250 filled the historic speedway with a weekend of high-octane action. With pancakes in their pockets and playoff dreams in their minds, the Milwaukee Brewers took the league by storm. After 12 consecutive wins, local burger chain George Webb gave away free burgers, inspiring the team to win two more games and break the franchise record with 14 straight wins. Their success can be attributed to Pat Murphy, the MLB’s 2024 Manager of the Year, known for keeping snacks in his pocket, and a team that knows only perseverance. The Brew Crew looks to close out the division and secure the No. 1 seed as they enter the postseason. 

IndyCar made a triumphant return to the State Fair grounds for the 2025 Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250s on August 23 and 24. Between live music at the Bank Five Nine Amphitheater, the free fan zone with giveaways, all-star appearances and of course racing this weekend broke the sound barrier.
