As you make your way through the six miles of trails found throughout the grounds, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the many furry critters and winged friends that call the preserve home like Meeko, Ray, or Flint! Before you go, be sure to check out the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center’s Feeder Cam, featuring beautiful shots of Robins, Cardinals, Blue Jays and other fluttering members often found throughout the Disney Kingdom. While you may not be able to sing a duet with them like Snow White, you can experience their majesty as they hum around a bird feeder.

If you’re looking for a chance to skate without worrying about the elements, make your way over to Pettit National Ice Center to skate to your hearts content on one of the Pettit’s open rinks. However, if you’re looking for even more “Frozen” fun, head to any of Milwaukee’s County Parks if you want to build a snowman. The cold never bothered us anyway!
