Downtown Milwaukee shines bright all season long during the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival, a six-week celebration that fills the city with more than half a million twinkling lights and holiday cheer. Stroll through Cathedral Square Park, Zeidler Union Square, Pere Marquette Park and Red Arrow Park to discover glowing sculptures, sparkling trees and whimsical displays that bring the season to life. Christmas at the Pabst Mansion

Only a few of the animals at the Milwaukee County Zoo are nocturnal, but during the holidays, you can take a walk on the wild side. Step into Wild Lights to explore the glowing pathways illuminated by hundreds of thousands of sparkling lights that shimmer like shooting stars. City of Milwaukee Christmas Tree Lighting
Deer District | Nov. 21, 5 -7 p.m.
You’ll find a warm cup of holiday cheer in the land of the Deer. This year, the plaza outside of Fiserv Forum is hosting the Deer District Holiday Market, and it all kicks off with a beloved holiday tradition, the 112th Annual City of Milwaukee Christmas Tree Lighting. Celebrate the start of the season with DJs, live performances, reindeer games and maybe even a special visit from Santa himself. Sip free hot chocolate from The New Fashioned and feel the excitement build before the tree lights the night.
Holiday Lights and Karaoke Caroling

The Christmas Carnival of Lights has been completely reimagined in 2025. Enjoy a bite from the Heirloom food truck at Draft & Vessel, sample rich dark chocolate and wine at Tabal Chocolate, or cozy up with a pumpkin-spiced hot chocolate at Arte while browsing the gallery. With themed seasonal cocktails, welcoming boutiques and festive treats around every corner, the Sip & Stroll offers a charming way to savor the spirit of the season in Wauwatosa.
Candy Cane Lane
West Allis | Nov. 28 – Dec. 25
It’s a local favorite for a reason. For 41 years, Candy Cane Lane in West Allis has grown into a holiday movie set of bright lights for a great cause. More than 300 homes give their all, decking their halls for the season, curating a colorful exhibition of holiday spirit that families can walk or drive through. Here’s the best part, while admission is free, visitors are encouraged to donate to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund. You can stop by the collection booth on 95th Street to make your donation and revel in a little holiday cheer for a cause.
Country Christmas Drive Through
The Ingleside Hotel | Nov. 28 – Jan. 3
Take a peaceful winter drive through Country Christmas Drive Through at The Ingleside Hotel. For 30 years, every year, this glowing trail transforms the grounds into a sparkling landscape filled with twinkling scenes, festive displays and quiet moments of wonder. After winding through the lights, step inside Christmas Village for classic decorations and cozy nostalgia.

Christmas in the Ward
Historic Third Ward | Dec. 5 | 5:30-8:30 p.m.
There are few locations that feel tailored for the next Hallmark hit quite like the Historic Third Ward. Amidst the boutique shops and restaurants, you’ll find excitement and warmth in the ward with Christmas in the Ward. Wander along Broadway to enjoy festive treats, a cookie sale and the inviting scents from local food trucks. Then follow the glow to Catalano Square for s’mores, live reindeer and performances that set the evening’s rhythm for the tree lighting at 6 p.m.
