Brewcity Bruisers

The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena transforms into a different type of rink to welcome the Brewcity Bruisers, Milwaukee’s women’s flat-track roller derby league. Four teams face off in monthly double header bouts, skating fast and hitting hard. After their regular season, the Brewcity Bruisers also host the Midwest BrewHaHa, an annual tournament that welcomes over 25 teams from all over the U.S. and Canada, including both women’s and men’s teams.

Milwaukee Admirals

At the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, the AHL Milwaukee Admirals take to the ice. A popular choice for families, the Admirals combine fast-paced hockey with fan favorite promos like rides on the Zamboni and “Uncle Ben’s Human Hockey Puck.” Originally founded as an amateur team, the Admirals have been the top affiliate of the NHL Nashville Predators since that team’s inception.

Milwaukee Brewers

Baseball fans love cheering on the MLB Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The unique fan-shaped retractable roof means it’s always a perfect day for baseball, and the expansive parking lots are filled hours before the game with pop-up tents and smoking grills for tailgating. Hopefully you’ll get to see mascot Bernie Brewer take a trip down his slide to celebrate a home run for the home team! Make sure to pick a sausage to cheer for during the Sausage Race in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Milwaukee Bucks

Scheduled for completion in 2018, construction of a new $500 million arena is underway for the NBA Milwaukee Bucks. You can feel excitement about the team throughout the city, especially on game days in their current home, the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Mascot Bango was voted the first “Most Awesome Mascot” by Cartoon Network thanks to his high-flying antics and acrobatic dunks.

The longest-running professional indoor soccer franchise in the United States is the Milwaukee Wave. Bring your vuvuzela to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena to cheer on indoor soccer.
