MILWAUKEE – (Sept. 2, 2021) VISIT Milwaukee was a sponsor of Connect 2021 in Tampa this week, and one of the destination marketing organization’s leaders was honored for her work. Director of Event Experience Brittany Korth was recognized as a 2021 Connect Association 40 Under 40 honoree.
“Brittany has been a valued member of the VISIT Milwaukee team for many years, and we regularly hear from event organizers, attendees, and our community at large what a credit Brittany is to the hospitality industry,” said Peggy Williams-Smith, president and CEO of VISIT Milwaukee. “This honor comes as no surprise to anyone who knows Brittany and her outstanding work to make planners’ Milwaukee conventions their best conventions.”
Connect annually highlights event professionals making a difference in the association, specialty, and tradeshow meetings industry. Nominated by peer colleagues, honorees are recognized in Connect’s print and online media as well as during its annual convention. Wisconsin Center District Vice President of Sales Megan Seppmann was honored earlier this year as a 2021 Connect Corporate 40 Under 40 winner.
VISIT Milwaukee headed to Tampa this week for Connect 2021 as sponsor of U.S. Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles’ keynote address. Prior to Biles’ speech VISIT Milwaukee hyped up the crowd with music from the Milwaukee Bucks’ official DJ. Meanwhile members of Milwaukee’s hospitality community distributed “Unique Unites” Milwaukee t-shirts to the audience. Both Korth and Seppmann were featured on the 40 Under 40 walk of fame at Connect 2021.
