Visit Milwaukee is excited to announce that Milwaukee Bucks star and Visit Milwaukee hype man, Bobby Portis Jr., will sponsor Milwaukee’s highly anticipated Milwaukee Tailgate Week, culminating with Jordy Nelson’s Milwaukee Tailgate with Inside the Huddle Live on April 26. In addition to the ticket giveaway, the generous donation from The Bobby Portis Foundation and a donation from the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame will activate a special “414” hometown deal for 50 percent off tickets for the Tailgate party. Fans just need to use the code “414” when ordering their general admission tickets to activate the promotion.

“Milwaukee is a city that loves its sports, and I’m proud to call it home. As a part of the Visit Milwaukee team, I want to make sure that everyone, no matter their circumstances, has the opportunity to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event. The energy around the draft throughout Wisconsin is something special, and it’s an honor to provide this chance to 400 community members through my foundation and in collaboration with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. I’m grateful for the work both organizations do, and this is my way of giving back to a city that’s given me so much,” said Portis.

“Being able to partner with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Visit Milwaukee to give back to the community means a lot to me. Both organizations work tirelessly to make our city a better place, and this event is a great way to highlight all the good they do. I’m excited to help bring people together and give fans the chance to enjoy the excitement of Tailgate Week, which will be a memory they’ll never forget.”

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin President and CEO, Patti Habeck, expressed her appreciation for Bobby’s continued support of the organization and the community.

“Bobby has been a steadfast advocate for our mission and a champion for the Milwaukee community since the day he joined the Bucks," said Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin President and CEO, Patti Habeck. "His generous donation of tickets to this unique event is yet another example of his deep commitment to bringing joy and opportunity to his community. We are incredibly grateful for Bobby’s continued partnership and the impact he makes - not just on the court, but on the lives of our neighbors across Greater Milwaukee.”
