Visit Milwaukee and Milwaukee Public Market reunite for an unforgettable chef-driven series
Visit Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Public Market are proud to announce the return of Milwaukee Flavor Live, a dynamic culinary series that shines a spotlight on the city's most inventive chefs and restaurants. Taking place on four flavorful nights -- September 11, 25, 30 and October 8 -- this immersive event invites guests to experience the art of cooking up close in the kitchen at the Milwaukee Public Market.
Building on the success of the inaugural Milwaukee Flavor Live held earlier this spring, the fall edition brings a fresh new format and a diverse lineup of celebrated local chefs. Each evening will feature live demonstrations, interactive tastings, and behind-the-scenes stories that reveal the heart and soul behind some of Milwaukee’s most beloved restaurants.
This fall’s Milwaukee Flavor Live also works in tandem with the launch of Visit Milwaukee’s first-ever printed cookbook, “Milwaukee Flavor: The Cookbook,” a collection of recipes and stories from the chefs who shape the city’s culinary scene. Attendees will be able to purchase the cookbook onsite.
“Milwaukee Flavor Live gives people a unique opportunity to not only taste what makes Milwaukee’s food scene so special, but to meet the incredible chefs behind the dishes,” said Josh Albrecht, chief marketing officer at Visit Milwaukee. “This series, along with the launch of our new cookbook, builds on the national exposure ‘Top Chef’ brought to Milwaukee and continues to elevate our city's culinary identity for locals and visitors alike.”

The Lineup:
- Thursday, September 11: Joe Muench, Black Shoe Hospitality. Demonstrating how to make schnitzel and two additional comfort-focused creations.
- Thursday, September 25: Dana Spandet, Flour Girl & Flame. Bringing shakshuka and a Dutch baby from their globally inspired, wood-fired kitchen.
- Tuesday, September 30: Ruta Kahate, Ruta’s Fresh Indian Fare. Sharing Devil Dung Potatoes, Fluffy Millet with Cashews, and Green Bean Peanut Salad.
- Wednesday, October 8: Kyle Knall, Birch. Featuring K Nall's BBQ wings alongside two bold, seasonal dishes.
