VISIT Milwaukee is proud to announce its 2024 Official Visitors Guide, which will soon appear at over 100 welcome centers and kiosks throughout Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and in mailboxes and digital devices around the globe. From aquatic adventures to James Beard Award-winning restaurants, unique bars to a teen’s guide to the city, the 2024 guide is packed with inspirational content that encourages visitors to explore everything Milwaukee has to offer.

For the first time, the Official Visitors Guide will feature three different covers, split evenly across the 200,000 copies. All taken by Milwaukee photographers, the first cover features Lake Michigan’s shoreline at sunset, the second features the Panadanza dancers in front of Colectivo Coffee’s lakefront location, and the third features chefs and their dishes to tease an excerpt of VISIT Milwaukee’s forthcoming cookbook.

While geared toward visitors, the Official Visitors Guide has become a source of bucket-list inspiration for area residents. Throughout the guide, both visitors and locals will find classic Milwaukee institutions as well as new attractions to visit, restaurants to try, and trails to blaze.

“The Official Visitors Guide allows us to showcase Milwaukee as a premier destination to everyone from prospective visitors to frequent travelers to our city and our own residents,” said Joshua Albrecht, vice president of marketing and communications at VISIT Milwaukee. “Each year, we shine the spotlight on the qualities that have continued to build Milwaukee into Conde Nast Traveler’s reigning No. 3 Best Big City in the U.S.”

Readers of the 2024 Official Visitors Guide are encouraged to share their Milwaukee moments with the hashtag #visitmilwaukee, #visitmke or #DearMKE for a chance to be featured on the organization’s social media channels.
