Jonathan Lucroy voices new commercial as Visit Milwaukee rallies partners and puts the city’s postseason pride on a national stage.

MILWAUKEE (October 23, 2026) – Milwaukee has World Series fever, and Visit Milwaukee is making sure the rest of the country feels it.

As the Brewers make their historic World Series run, Visit Milwaukee is turning the city’s blue-and-gold pride into a national invitation. A new commercial voiced by Jonathan Lucroy, planned national advertising, stories for visiting media and celebrations with local partners will showcase a community going all in for its team and give audiences a reason to experience Milwaukee for themselves.

The stakes extend well beyond the scoreboard. Visit Milwaukee estimates that each postseason home game so far has generated $5.1 million in total economic impact, with each World Series home game projected to generate $10 million to $12 million. Visit Milwaukee will conduct a complete economic impact study after the games conclude to assess the full impact of the postseason run.

“This team has given Milwaukee something extraordinary to rally around, and our community is showing up for every bit of it,” said Josh Albrecht, chief marketing officer of Visit Milwaukee. “Our job is to take that excitement as far as we can. When people tune in for the Brewers, we want them to fall in love with Milwaukee, too. That means showing them the people, places and experiences that will make them want to come back long after the final out.”

Taking Milwaukee to a National Audience

Visit Milwaukee’s new 30-second commercial features a voiceover from Jonathan Lucroy, bringing a familiar voice to the invitation to explore Milwaukee. The planned advertising mix includes billboards in the Tampa/St. Pete market, national radio placements during World Series game broadcasts through Good Karma Brands and ESPN, YouTube and social media, putting the destination in front of fans following baseball’s biggest stage.

Partners helping extend the campaign’s reach include Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, Discover the North Shore of Milwaukee, Visit West Allis, Pabst Theater Group, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Summerfest and Marquette University.

Bringing the Whole Community into the Celebration

Inspired by the bond the Brewers players share, Visit Milwaukee and Milwaukee Downtown are inviting fans to make a little postseason magic of their own. Free friendship bracelet making will take place at 3rd Street Market Hall on Friday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fans can create a bracelet for themselves, a friend or a fellow fan. All are welcome, with materials provided or the option to bring their own supplies.

In addition to this, posters printed by Visit Milwaukee are available for partners to hang in their businesses, helping turn storefronts and gathering places into displays of Brewers pride.

Visit Milwaukee also challenged partners to bring their best postseason spirit through a decorating contest celebrating creative displays, themed menus and promotions. The Ambassador Hotel hit it out of the park with a baseball-themed scavenger hunt, earning the top prize and giving fans another way to get in on the fun.

Packing Brewers Pride for TEAMS

The Sports Milwaukee team is taking that hometown pride on the road next week. Decked out in Brewers gear, team members will connect with sports event planners and sports rights holders at the TEAMS Conference & Expo, using this moment to show how Milwaukee rallies around sports. With Milwaukee set to host TEAMS in October 2027, they’ll also be building excitement for the industry’s own turn to experience the city next year.

Sharing the Moments that Make this October Unforgettable

Visit Milwaukee is dedicating additional internal resources to social media to capture the celebrations, fan pride and local businesses making this run their own. Its Threads account is now dedicated solely to Brewers coverage, giving fans another place to join the conversation and follow the excitement across Milwaukee.

For visiting fans, it’s an invitation to explore more between games, like making a stop or two along the newly launched Brew City Trail. For everyone watching from afar, it’s a look at a city they’ll want to experience for themselves.

Giving National Media a Milwaukee Story to Tell

The action extends well beyond the ballpark, and Visit Milwaukee is helping incoming national media find it. A dedicated World Series media page offers stories about Milwaukee’s baseball history, neighborhood traditions, dining scene and the people who make game day here an experience all its own.

The organization has also refreshed its b-roll collection with nighttime skyline footage of Milwaukee glowing blue and gold, giving broadcasters fresh ways to show a city wearing its pride for the world to see.
