Three Lions Pub

As the name implies, Three Lions Pub is a traditional English bar in the Shorewood neighborhood just north of downtown specializing in showing soccer from all over the world—namely the English Premier League and the Bundesliga—but this month, the 2023 Women’s World Cup will take center stage on the many TVs throughout the pub. A perfect spot to cheer on the U.S. team, root for another country or take in all the action of the World Cup, enjoy a menu of British staples and American favorites like fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, burgers and more in addition to the pub’s wide selection of beers from all over the world.

Just off of Brady Street, tucked neatly on North Water Street, Red Lion Pub is a downtown companion of Three Lions Pub and is run by the same ownership group. Much like Three Lions, Red Lion Pub is an intimate venue to witness the U.S. women’s team chase their third straight title. The cozy soccer bar is a great place to soak in the gameday atmosphere and cheer on your team with fans from around the city. With TVs on nearly every wall and a drop-down projector all tuned in to the World Cup, every seat in the pub is the best seat in the house.

Nomad World Pub

Up the road from Red Lion Pub, on Brady Street, is Nomad World Pub. Known for the world’s shortest happy hour and a fervent soccer crowd for English Premier League and World Cup fixtures, Nomad is yet another phenomenal destination for your Women’s World Cup experience. In addition to the homey indoor bar area, the pub also features an outdoor space with a complete bar and plenty of TVs to help you catch every second of the action.

Highbury Pub

To the south of downtown, on Kinnickinnic Ave. in Bay View, is yet another soccer bar ideal to help you cheer on the stars and stripes as they make their way through the knockout stage and into the tournament of the World Cup. Decorated with merch of soccer clubs from around the world, the pub packs in fans for matches throughout the year like the English Premier League, Bundesliga and many more. For the next month, all eyes at the pub will turn to the 2023 Women’s World Cup in a celebration of soccer and a festive atmosphere.

Stefan’s Soccer – Brookfield

For an even more family-friendly experience, Stefan’s Soccer of Brookfield is hosting a World Cup watch party on July 21, as the USWNT kicks off their 2023 campaign to defend their crown as champions. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. and feature fun for the whole family including a t-shirt or headband-building station, games, and more. Grab your favorite tailgating chairs, pack a bite to eat and something to drink, and cheer on the U.S. women as they take on Vietnam at 8:00 p.m.
