Milwaukee, we’re going vegan. From November 3-9, more than 25 local restaurants, bakeries, breweries, taquerias and cafés are celebrating plant-based dining in all its delicious forms during the first-ever Milwaukee Vegan Restaurant Week.
Just in time for National Vegan Month, this new citywide celebration invites both vegan and “vegan-curious” diners to explore the flavors and culinary creativity that make Milwaukee’s dining scene so special.

A Local Dream Come True
The idea for Milwaukee Vegan Restaurant Week came straight from the heart of the local food scene. Wendy Mireles, owner of Café Corazón and founder of the event, wanted to shine a spotlight on the city’s diverse vegan options for anyone who loves great food.
A Week to Taste, Explore and Support Local
The lineup for this inaugural week is packed with some of Milwaukee’s most beloved eateries, from 100% vegan spots to restaurants where vegans and non-vegans dine side-by-side. Each participating business will feature at least one vegan item or special throughout the week. And there’s no registration, cover charge, or ticket required to join the fun. It’s an easy (and tasty!) way to try something new, discover a hidden gem and support small local businesses all at once.
