Hawkins taught us that the strangest connections are usually the real ones. Sometimes it is a monster. Sometimes it is a song. Sometimes it is just a hole where there should not be one. Sometimes it is using all the imagination of a Dungeons and Dragons game with Will, Mike and friends to connect two dots that do not really connect at all. These Milwaukee Theater District experiences are not official Stranger Things tie-ins. They are something better. A little unhinged. Deeply intentional. And absolutely for the fans. So pop in a Palermo's 'Stranger Things Pizza', grab some Scoops Ahoy (or maybe a Peanut Butter Bopper) and let’s do this.
Amadeus
Broadway Theatre Center | January 23 – February 8
The scariest monsters rarely announce themselves. Obsession, jealousy and a brilliant mind turned inward make 'Amadeus' a psychological cousin to Henry Creel long before the clock ever started ticking.
RENT
Jan Serr Studio | February 20 – 21
When survival becomes a daily choice, community is the only thing that holds. 'RENT' understands chosen family, uncertainty and music as lifelines. No day but today could have been scribbled on a Hawkins Middle chalkboard between bells.
Clue The Movie hosted by Lesley Ann Warren
Uihlein Hall | March 3
Nothing spirals faster than a room full of people convinced they are right. In 'Clue The Movie', murder, suspects and theories stack up until you are thinking like Nancy Wheeler at WSQK with a notebook, a shotgun and no patience for nonsense. One mystery. Multiple endings. Check the lights.

Hadestown
Uihlein Hall | March 6 – March 7
Some stories dare you to hope anyway. 'Hadestown' follows a journey into the underworld driven by love, loss and the belief that maybe the song is enough. Lucas would understand this one. Max would too.
Tales of Hoffmann
Uihlein Hall | March 13 & 15
Unreliable narrators, fractured reality and villains who charm before they destroy. 'Tales of Hoffmann' is the Upside Down if Vecna wore velvet, spoke beautifully and insisted he was misunderstood.
The Music of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit in Concert
Miller High Life Theatre | March 22
This cinematic concert carries the quiet bravery of someone who keeps going, even when the path is dark, the odds say turn back and a certain sorcerer may not be what he first seems. And if that courage feels familiar, it helps to remember that Sean Astin has been here before.

Barefoot in the Park
Next Act Theatre | March 22 – April 12
Not every disruption arrives with claws or shadows. A newlywed couple, a tiny apartment and a skylight hole that should not exist show how ordinary life breaks in and changes the plan. Sometimes the strangest things are not monsters at all.
Decades: Back to the 80s
Bradley Symphony Center | March 27 - 29
From Madonna to Queen, this concert sounds like something Steve Harrington definitely had stashed in the Beamer, wedged between fast-food wrappers and bad decisions. Turn it up loud enough and the weird fades out for a while, at least until the headlights flicker.
Disney’s Frozen
Todd Wehr Theatre | April 11 – May 17
The cold never bothered Elsa and it did not stop Hopper either. Set in a frozen world where endurance matters and hope refuses to quit, 'Frozen' understands that sometimes survival is just holding on until the door finally opens.
Rock Orchestra
Miller High Life Theatre | April 25
Heavy strings and amplified guitars collide in a way that feels tailor-made for Eddie Munson fans who still believe metal saves lives. Dustin would absolutely insist this counts as educational, Jonathan would quietly appreciate the craftsmanship and everyone else would be converted by the second song. Think Master of Puppets energy but symphonic, loud enough to punch through the static and maybe shake a gate loose at the Miller High Life Theatre.

Alice (In Wonderland)
Marcus Performing Arts Center | May 1 – May 10
Every strange journey begins with a hole where it should not be. In Alice it's a rabbit hole. In Stranger Things it's a gate. Either way, one wrong step and the world turns upside down.
And Then There Were None
Checota Powerhouse Theater | May 26 – June 28
The rules change when escape disappears. Ten people remain as suspicion grows and trust collapses in this Agatha Christie classic. Assume nothing. Suspect everyone. Especially the quiet ones.

Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel
Every good operation needs a home base and Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel is yours. If you close your eyes and commit to the bit, you can build your own pizza with Argyle at Proof Pizza. In the morning, The Studio Kitchen & Cocktails has you covered with a solid breakfast. No Eggos but you will survive.
If Stranger Things taught us anything, it is that there really is theater for everyone if you know how to sell it. Spin it like Robin, follow the thread and suddenly the Theater District becomes its own kind of map. One part imagination, one part heart and just enough reach to make it fun.
