Milwaukee isn't new to culture

We’ve been building it for decades—through music, through festivals, through community. But for a long time, that story mostly stayed with us. What’s happening right now is different. We’re in a moment where cities aren’t just competing for visitors anymore; they’re competing for cultural relevance. And culture doesn’t move through ads. It moves through what people wear, what they share, and what they experience.

a photo of shake james in his store, holding shoes with a quote overlayed reading "“I’ve always believed a sneaker should stand for something, and this one is about pride in where you come from and making sure the next generation sees that their story matters too.” Eric “Shake” James"

So we asked a different question: What if you didn’t have to visit Milwaukee to feel it? What if you could step into it… anywhere in the world? That idea brought together a global brand, the world’s largest music festival, a Milwaukee creator who lives and breathes sneaker culture, and a city ready to tell its story in a new way. What came out of that isn’t just a sneaker. It’s a new way to think about tourism.

Because now…you don’t just visit Milwaukee. You live it.
