After a cold winter, spring is when the city starts to thaw! The weather can still be unpredictable through the spring months in Milwaukee, so most major events are continue to be scheduled indoors. Spring is prime kite flying season in Milwaukee. You can see colorful characters in the air by the lakefront on any given windy day. Purchase your own kite at Gift of Wings, located right in Verterans Park, to get in on the fun.
