Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks are Milwaukee's basketball team, but they're so much more. They’re a symbol of pride, passion and perseverance for Milwaukee. In 2021, the Bucks shocked the world and brought home the city’s first championship in 50 years, supported by 65,000 cheering fans in Deer District. Now, they begin a new chapter in the team's 55+ year history. Led by Head Coach Taylor Jenkins and a youthful new-look roster, the young Bucks will look to take the league by storm in 2026-2027, competing with the very best teams in the Eastern Conference.

A Winning Tradition

Founded in 1968, the Bucks quickly became one of the NBA’s most exciting franchises, winning their first championship in 1971 with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson. Following Abdul-Jabar’s departure in 1975, the reloaded Bucks – headlined by Sidney Moncrief, Junior Bridgeman, Bob Lanier and Marques Johnson – appeared in three Eastern Conference Finals in four years, coming up just short against stacked Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers teams.

The new millennium ushered in another era of success, too. Names like Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, Tim Thomas and Sam Cassell lit it up at the Bradley Center in the 2000-21 season, pushing the Allen Iverson-led 76ers to six games in the Eastern Conference Finals. Today, with stars like Kevin Porter Jr., Ryan Rollins and Myles Turner and a strong supporting cast, the Bucks continue that tradition, combining world-class talent with the grit and determination that define Milwaukee itself.

The Deer District Experience

When the Bucks play, Milwaukee cheers the Deer. Deer District, a 30-acre entertainment hub surrounding Fiserv Forum, is one of the most exciting gathering places in the Midwest. Fans fill the plaza for games, concerts, festivals, and watch parties, creating an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the NBA. The energy is electric, inside the arena and out.

Fiserv Forum: The Home of the Bucks

When you visit Milwaukee for a Bucks game, you’ll have the chance to watch NBA superstars at one of the league’s best venues, Fiserv Forum. While you’re here, immerse yourself in Milwaukee’s welcoming and passionate sports community, where cheering on the Bucks is a citywide tradition. To round out your trip, explore nearby attractions such as the shores of Lake Michigan, the scenic Milwaukee Riverwalk and the Historic Third Ward, all just a short walk or ride from the arena.

Bucks Basketball and Beyond

The Milwaukee Bucks don’t just represent excellence on the court. They’re deeply involved in the community, supporting local initiatives, youth programs and civic pride. Attending a Bucks game isn’t just about basketball; it’s about experiencing the heart and soul of Milwaukee. Plan your visit to Milwaukee and catch the Bucks in action, where championship basketball meets unforgettable city experiences.
