From the depths of winter, the heart-racing pulse of summer roared to life this afternoon as the annual Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival announced the full lineup of artists who will rock the docks along Veterans Park on July 11 and 12.
This year’s lineup is a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll, featuring previously released headliners Chris Stapleton and Hank Williams Jr., in addition to groups like the Turnpike Troubadours, Treaty Oak Revival, Sierra Ferrell, Charles Wesley Godwin and many more. Set to draw tens of thousands of fans of the iconic bike brand to Milwaukee, this star-studded lineup will cap off two nights of music and motoculture along Lake Michigan.
Chis Stapleton is no stranger to Milwaukee. Last performing as a part of a co-headlining bill with George Strait at American Family Field in 2023, Stapleton has played Milwaukee for six of the past nine years. Known for blurring the line between genres, Stapleton is equal parts country music star and certified rock ‘n roller in one, wowing crowds with his technically skilled guitar solos. One of the genre’s top stars, Stapleton will bring a cache of well-known hits, such as “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Parachute,” “You Should Probably Leave” and more. His roaring guitar riffs will close out night one of the festivities on July 11.
The Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival is Hank Williams Jr.’s first appearance in Milwaukee since he headlined the Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage back in 2021. Williams, a Grammy Award-winner and son of country music icon Hank Williams, will bring well-loved hits from his 54 studio albums, including “Family Tradition,” “A Country Boy Can’t Survive” and “All My Rowdy Friends.” He will close out the festival’s two-night run on July 12.
