Opening Day is upon us! All around the country, the smell of meat sizzling over hot charcoal coals, the buzz of parking lots before a ballgame, the crisp sounds of cracking bats, and the stunning spectacle of everything that makes baseball America’s game. The return of baseball is an unofficial holiday for many who follow the sport. For others, the arrival of the season marks the beginning of spring.
As we eagerly await the beginning of the Milwaukee’s Brewers baseball season, we figured it’s never too early to start planning your 2023 Opening Day experience.
Brew Crew Preview
This year, the Brew Crew is brewing up another exciting season of diving saves, throwing K’s, and crushing homers. With a roster of stars, fan favorites and familiar faces in new places, the Brewers are primed to grapple with division rivals to recapture their first N.L. Central title since 2021.
Play Ball!
The Milwaukee Brewers begin their season on the road for a three-game matchup with heated rivals, the Chicago Cubs.
Matchup Preview: At Cubs, March 30, 1:20 p.m.
The Brewers open the season on the road at the not-so-friendly confines of Wrigley Field against the Cubs on March 30 at 1:20 p.m. In the chilly air of early spring, Milwaukee’s stable of Cy Young-contending pitchers will look to stymy the Cubs’ overhauled roster. With additions of Cody Bellinger, Dansby Swanson, and more, the Cubs are looking to get back on track in the N.L. Central, while the dominant pitching staff of Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, and Freddy Peralta will once again aim to carry the Brewers to their sixth playoff appearance in seven year s.
