It wasn't a dream. The Milwaukee Brewers are World Champions.
After 57 seasons, the Crew finally broke through to win the franchise's first-ever World Series, cementing their place in Milwaukee history.
Just a few days later, fans took to the streets, parking garages, rooftops and skywalks to watch the team cap off the dream season with a championship parade and celebration leading from Baird Center to the Summerfest grounds. With 750,000 looking on to mark the occasion, it was one of the largest single-day events in the state's history.
It was a special moment for our city, for the generations of Brewers fans who have waited their whole lives for this day and for the team that made it all possible.
The Brewers won their way. Milwaukee celebrated our way. Relive the magic of the Brewers' championship parade and celebration in the American Family Insurance Amphitheater here.
