Nicole Baxter was an extern at Visit Milwaukee, where she gained experience in marketing and communications, including social media, content production and data analysis. She also spent 12 months at Kinship MKE as a Workforce Trainee in the Summer 2025 cohort of its Workforce Development program. During her time there, Nicole developed culinary skills through hands-on work in the café and participated in the organization’s “heal on the clock” programming, which offered valuable personal and professional development lessons. Nicole completed the program in June 2026.
