Milwaukee has earned its reputation as the Brew City. A destination once foaming at the pint with beer behemoths has evolved to include the new, inventive and downright tasty brews that fill taprooms and tap lines all over town. These nano, micro, regional and major brewing labels are innovators of the hoppy variety, spreading cheer through, you guessed it, beer.
Each month, new additions to the city's brewing scene add more to explore along the Brew City Trail and beyond. Here's a look at recent releases, returning favorites and what's coming soon to a brewery near you. Prost!
While we did our best to make sure we got as many new and upcoming releases as we could, the outpouring of great beer from the city's many breweries means there's some we may have missed. If there's a new or upcoming brew that you can't wait to share with the world, please reach out to us here.
Also, please note that some of these beers are limited releases. Check with the brewery for remaining draft or packaged availability before making a special trip.

Eagle Park Brewing
Demon Haze
Hazy IPA
There's nothing subtle about the hop lineup in Demon Haze. Mosaic, Idaho 7 and El Dorado bring pineapple, citrus and pine aromas to this returning hazy IPA. The bitterness, however, takes a lighter approach, giving those big hop aromas room to shine without overwhelming the finish.
Eagle Park Brewing
Rind-Stone Cowboy
American IPA
Tangerine peel and blood orange give Rind-Stone Cowboy its citrus credentials. This American IPA doesn't leave all the fruit character to the hops, bringing actual citrus into the recipe. Consider it a little extra zest for your next IPA order.
Faklandia Brewpub
Faktoberfest '26!
Märzen Lager
At Faklandia, Oktoberfest gets its own chapter. This seasonal Märzen brings a traditional beer style to the brewpub's fantasy-inspired lineup. Pair it with the house-smoked barbecue for a fall feast that doesn't require a costume, just an appetite.

Lakefront Brewery
My Turn: Ian
Cherry Cordial Stout
A childhood favorite gets the craft beer treatment. Inspired by the cherry cordials Ian enjoyed at his grandmother's house, this stout uses cherry juice and cocoa powder to put a familiar candy in your glass. Coffee-like aromas and roasted malt lead into tart cherry flavors and a sweet finish.
Urban Harvest Brewing Company
King & Queen Altbier
Northern German Altbier
Hops don't have to take over to make an impression. King & Queen lets toast, biscuit and caramel flavors lead, then brings in Saaz hops for a gentle counterpoint. This Northern German-style altbier keeps the focus on smooth malt flavor without leaving the hops out of the conversation.
Urban Harvest Brewing Company
Alice, Who the Helles Alice?
Helles Lager
The name makes an entrance; the beer takes a quieter approach. Alice pairs a light, golden appearance with mild malt flavor and lingering noble hop notes. You don't need a complicated ingredient list to find something worth ordering.

MobCraft Beer
Mobtoberfest
Oktoberfest-Style Lager
There's room for a little tradition among the experiments. Mobtoberfest takes a Vienna-style approach to Oktoberfest, putting malt at the center of a golden-amber lager. It's the seasonal counterpart to the polka, pretzels and stein-holding festivities at MobCraft's fall celebration.
Raised Grain Brewing Co.
Haze Before the Storm
Triple IPA
Some anniversary beers are too good to leave in the past. Originally brewed for Raised Grain's third anniversary, Haze Before the Storm returns for the brewery's annual celebration. Citra and Amarillo hops lead this triple IPA, giving the birthday lineup something for the hop enthusiasts, too.
Raised Grain Brewing Co.
Aces High Anniversary 2026
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
Eleven years calls for more than a single barrel. This anniversary stout blends beer aged in barrels from Elijah Craig, Henry McKenna, Heaven Hill and Evan Williams. For bourbon fans, that's an intriguing lineup before the first sip, with several barrel histories contributing to one celebratory release.
Raised Grain Brewing Co.
Black Jack Brewmaster Select 2026
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
Raised Grain had another card up its sleeve for its anniversary. Where Aces High combines several barrel selections, Black Jack puts one hand-selected barrel in the spotlight. The two imperial stouts offer different approaches to barrel aging, giving you something beyond the label to compare.

Third Space Brewing
Unite the Clans
Scottish-Style Ale
An old favorite has another round in it. Third Space brought back Unite the Clans for its 10th anniversary, giving longtime fans a reunion and newcomers a chance to discover a Scottish-style ale with three Great American Beer Festival medals to its name. Not a bad résumé for a comeback.
Gathering Place Brewing Co.
One Infinite Loop
Mixed-Fermentation Sour Ale
Not every beer on your radar starts with a commercial brew team. Homebrewer Darrell created this mixed-fermentation sour, which won the Cream City Homebrewing Competition and earned a release at Gathering Place. That's a pretty good outcome for a homebrew.
Gathering Place Brewing Co.
The Limb Shaker
Belgian Tripel with Cherries
Leave it to Door County cherries to put a local twist on a Belgian classic. The Limb Shaker brings the fruit into a Belgian-style tripel for Gathering Place's autumn lineup. When your fall beer hunt needs a break from pumpkin and Oktoberfest, here's another direction to explore.
Lion's Tail Brewing Co.
Bourbon Trail: Willett
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
Bourbon fans, there's a familiar name on this beer. This imperial stout spends a year in Willett bourbon barrels and opens Lion's Tail's five-beer Bourbon Trail series. The brewery takes a less thick-bodied approach here, giving you a different way to explore its barrel-aged offerings.
Lion's Tail Brewing Co.
Mo' Juice
New England IPA
It's been a few years since Mo' Juice made an appearance, but this returning New England IPA lives up to its name. Citra hops and a double dry-hopping with Mosaic bring aromas of tangerine, papaya, grapefruit and orange. Follow your nose on this one.
Lion's Tail Brewing Co.
Slim Reaper
Stout
Stout season doesn't always call for a big, heavy beer. Slim Reaper takes a lighter approach, bringing chocolate flavor and roasted aromas to a less weighty pour. You get the dark-beer character without committing to the heft of an imperial stout.
Lion's Tail Brewing Co.
e11e
Bourbon and Amburana Barrel-Aged Belgian Quad
Eleven years calls for something special. Lion's Tail is marking its anniversary with e11e, a Belgian-style quadrupel aged for a year in bourbon and toasted amburana barrels. For this birthday beer, the barrel selection shares top billing with the brew itself.
