The Brew City Trail is about the journey and the destinations. It’s about the breweries and landmarks, the history and distilleries, the brews you savored along the way and the memories you take away. And now you can track it all as a true Brew Spotter.
Keep track of all your favorite brews, birds and beer barons along the way and tap into special prizes and one-of-a-kind experiences.
1. Find Your Stop
Open the Brew City Trail digital guide and find the trail stop you’re visiting. Sign up or Sign in and you’re ready to start spotting.
2. Spot a Brew
See what’s on tap and log your find. Pick what you’re drinking, tag how it tastes, add a comment and snap a photo for bonus points. Beer isn’t required. Craft soda, cocktails, coffee and other brews all count. And keep your eyes open, not every spot is a brew. Birds and beer barons are hiding along the trail, too.
3. Climb the Liter Board
Every report earns points, with plenty of ways to score more. Add a photo, spot something first, visit a new brewery, hit a milestone or catch a Hoppy Hour for 2x points. The more you score, the higher you climb on the Liter Board, with prizes and one-of-a-kind Milwaukee experiences up for grabs.

Brew Spotting 101
Earn Points
Report a brew and earn 10 points. Add a photo for 5 bonus points, be the first to spot a brew on the trail for 15 bonus points and earn 10 bonus points the first time you spot at a new brewery. You can score up to five reports per stop, per day. Plus, hit 5, 10 or 20 breweries to earn milestone bonuses of 25, 50 or 100 points.
PRO TIP: Grab some zero-proof points (and an exclusive badge) by spotting craft sodas, coffees, cocktails, birds and barons at stops throughout the trail.
Collect Badges
Spot early, spot often. We’ll unveil limited-edition badges that you can only earn for special challenges, events or locations. Check back regularly so you don’t miss out!
